Cosy Up In Leocé Luxury Couture

Updated: Nov 4, 2021

Cape Town-based fashion brand Leocé Luxury Couture has launched a sleepwear collection consisting of stylish, comfort-forward silk sleepwear and dressing gowns for bedtime and beyond.

Adding to Leocé’s existing collection of formal dresses, wedding gowns and, most recently, Irish linen, the introduction of this new collection is in line with director and head designer George Stander’s mission to make the recently rebranded label – previously known as Geo by George – more affordable and accessible.

The epitome of luxury fabric, silk has the power to help you feel dressed up even when you’re dressing down. Whether you’re wanting to upgrade your nighttime attire for the winter months ahead or to simply add luxury to your morning routine, consider Leocé’s irresistible silk sleepwear and dressing gowns. They aren’t just chic; vitally, they’re also lightweight and cozy.

Made from smooth, extremely fine and inherently sultry silk fabric – imported from a high-quality silk mill in the UK – these garments give a soft feeling that floats over the skin.

There’s something alluring and glamorous about slipping into a sweet short set just to snooze or lazing the day away in a dreamy robe that feels extravagant thanks to bold prints and a touch of embellishments.

The everyday go-to, the supremely soft camisole and pants set available in black and navy, is easy to live in and sophisticated for bedtime. Plus, for warm sleepers, a short set is always best. Wear it at night for luxurious lounging around the house or pair it with a chunky oversized knit. On the other hand, the lace-trimmed camisole and pants set in white, or turquoise is extra-special for a bachelor party or wedding night.

These polished and relaxed pieces will inspire you to saunter around in them even during the waking hours – get the most out of this luxe set by dressing it up for a Zoom cocktail hour. At the end of a long day, the little things – a warm bubble bath, hydrating face mask, scented candle and the indulgent soft pink pipe-lined trim set – can make any old weeknight feel more special.

Designed with movement in mind, you’ll be having sweet dreams all night long in this romantic sleepwear. And on the nights when you can’t bother to wear pants or shorts, the elegant sand or blue nightdress is the next best thing.

Like silk sleepwear, a soft and buttery silk dressing gown is the easiest way to elevate your stay-at-home look. Slipping into one of Leocé’s plush dressing gowns – which come in a variety of styles, from trendy motifs to leopard print – can bring comfort to your everyday and help you reach peak cosiness.

There are plenty of options you’ll never want to take off: If you’re looking for a traditional silk dressing gown, the pure white with embroidered line drawings and black piping detail is both stylish and functional thanks to a kimono collar and an attached belt.

No longer exclusively reserved for bedtime, it’s the perfect day-to-night robe to casually lounge in. Looking for a special option? Embrace your trendy side with the paisley number in an exquisite turquoise or aqua blue hue. For something that toes the line between comfortable and sexy, try the sleek black or sand dressing gown adorned with leopard print.

These robes flow gracefully and have bell sleeves that offer plenty of movement. The pink silk dressing gown, among other bridal dressing gown options, will make you feel like a bride even before hair and makeup begins. It lives up to the occasion and looks beautiful in photos. For a personal touch, embroidery is available on the back.

Leocé’s silk sleepwear and dressing gowns come in three standard UK sizes: 10, 12 and 14. For those who aren’t sure which size would fit them best, there’s a size table on the website. In addition, Leocé offers a custom-made option whereby customers can send through their measurements to have a garment that’s made to fit perfectly.
